The World Wildlife Federation of Justice is a fictional superhero team that appeared, among other places, in stories published by Cloudscape Comics. The team is an anthropomorphic funny animal homage to such superhero teams as the Justice League of America or The Avengers.
The World Wildlife Federation of Justice originally appeared in the graphic novel anthology Historyonics in the story "Secret Files of the World Wildlife Federation of Justice: The Ominous Origin of Rhinosferatu" and appeared again in the book Funday Sunnies in a one-page homage to the classic Hostess Fruit Pies ads from the comics of the 70's and 80's which was called "Go-Rilla in: Mid-Afternoon of the Living Dead" in which the superhero Go-Rilla defeats the supervillain Elk Diablo with the help of General Woodcock's Wholesome Flax Pies. In 2010 the WWFJ mythos was "statted up" as a supplement for the roleplaying game Mutants & Masterminds by Atomic Overmind Press.
The characters of the WWFJ were created by Toren Atkinson known best as the lead singer for the Lovecraft-inspired rock band The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets and co-creator of the Spaceship Zero property. Toren first created Rhinosferatu for a Champions game he played in and over the years added more characters and created a setting. He ran a roleplaying game campaign of the WWFJ at local conventions and game stores using a combination of the Mutants and Masterminds and Spaceship Zero game rules.
